Description of Hors Studio

Out-Of-Studio:

This describes a state of mind, a phenomenon that the artist sometimes lives within the frame of his (her) studio. A certain encounter could occur – a kind of epiphany emanating of the divergent processes during the re-creation of some passed moments, which even amplifies the act of perception.

During this dynamic but highly challenging approach, many things may appear where change takes the place of stability. In-between souvenir, oblivion or recall, between reality, imagination and memory, in the heart of the process elucidating the lived instances, emerges a certain consciousness – a kind of illumination: Rediscovering the meaning, that of the self and the process of becoming.

The artist’s domain, in its content and substance, with its joys and sorrows, remains a signifying space where are depicted the conflicts and respites, where are traced possibilities and probable resolutions for thus to include all one relentless lived experiences between the artist and his (her) inner self.

Out-Of-studio represents in a symbolic way this state of contrast the artist sometimes faces working in studio.
